GDPR COPPA India DPDP 2023

This Privacy Policy describes how ABC ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application. ABC is intended for users aged 13 and above. By using ABC, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide and improve the app:

• Google Account information — Your name and email address, received via Google Sign-In when you create an account.
• App progress data — Your completed stages, star count, quiz timing, and fail counts. Stored locally on your device and synced to our secure cloud database.
• Crash and diagnostic data — Anonymous crash reports sent automatically to Firebase Crashlytics when the app encounters an error.
• Usage analytics — Anonymous events such as which tables you practice, how long sessions last, and which stages you complete. Collected via Firebase Analytics.
• Advertising identifiers — Google AdMob may collect your device advertising ID to serve relevant ads. See Section 5.

We do not collect passwords, payment information, location data, contacts, or any sensitive personal information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected for the following purposes and legal bases:

• To create and maintain your account and sync your progress — Contract performance
• To display your name within the app — Contract performance
• To fix crashes and improve app stability — Legitimate interest
• To understand usage patterns and improve the experience — Legitimate interest
• To serve advertisements via Google AdMob — Consent / Legitimate interest

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your progress data is stored locally on your device using SQLite and securely synced to Google Firebase Firestore, hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Firebase Authentication is used for secure sign-in. We apply industry-standard security practices to protect your data from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss.

Your data may be stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States, as Firebase operates globally. By using the app, you consent to this transfer.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you sign out and uninstall the app, local data is removed from your device. To request permanent deletion of your cloud data, email us at askomkardixit@gmail.com and we will delete your Firestore account data within 30 days.

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

ABC shows rewarded video advertisements powered by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising identifier (GAID on Android) to serve relevant ads. This constitutes targeted advertising. You can opt out of personalised ads at any time through your device settings:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID or opt out of ads personalisation

6. Third-Party Services

ABC uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google Sign-In — Authentication
• Firebase Firestore — Cloud data storage
• Firebase Crashlytics — Crash reporting
• Firebase Analytics — Usage analytics
• Google AdMob — Advertisements

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

ABC is rated for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at askomkardixit@gmail.com and we will delete that information promptly.

While the app content is suitable for all ages, account creation and data collection features are intended for users 13 and above. Younger children should use the app under parental supervision.

8. Your Rights

All users:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time by signing out and uninstalling the app

European Union users (GDPR):

• Right to data portability — request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format
• Right to restrict processing of your data
• Right to object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority

India users (DPDP Act 2023):

• Right to information about personal data being processed
• Right to correction and erasure of personal data
• Right to grievance redressal — contact us at the email below and we will respond within 30 days
• Right to nominate another individual to exercise rights on your behalf

California users (CCPA):

• We do not sell your personal information to third parties
• You may request to know what personal information we have collected about you

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users.
